“Anthropologie and Bargain Shopping” in the Same Sentence

anthropologie jeans

This post is brought to you by Shopstyle. All editorial reviews and opinions are solely my own.

Anthropologie is one of my most favorite stores to do some bargain shopping! While regular prices are high for a girl on a budget, the sales are fabulous. Shopping a sale at Anthropologie is like shopping at TJMaxx. You have to do some digging and hunting. If you hit the sale at Anthropologie just right, you can find crazy, amazing deals. So if you are up for bargain hunting, then this is a store for you!

I could not leave the store without these jeans. With all the jeans I have in my closet, I did not have a pair like these. These sequins go a long way in bringing together a day to night look. Best of all, these jeans were originally $158. I got them for…drum roll please…$23.97! Yes, way! Amazing, right? It’s all about watching and waiting.

I keep my eye on pieces like this through the season and then wait until Anthropologie marks it down. If you can hold out long enough, Anthropologie will mark down items two times and then throw a 40% off on sale. With my budget, I never would have paid $158 for these jeans, but at this price…well, I should have bought a pair for you!

To make this outfit “day friendly,” which translates into having cheese puff hands on me and becoming a human apparatus, I put the jeans with these comfortable booties and faux fur coat. My goal is to always get away with an outfit that is put together, but also kid-friendly. Having a coat like this on hand is a wardrobe staple because it has a way of dressing pieces up to give an unexpected look. I love clothes that get a “2nd glance.”

The Real Deal

The day we took these pictures, it was absolutely freezing! My husband, AKA Creative Director, wanted to get this spot with the amazing fountain and view of houses. We snapped pictures within 7 minutes and jumped back in the car. During the 7 minutes, Farrah (1 yo) ripped the chain on my necklace by pulling it, rolled in the grass several times, and was determined to go for a swim in the fountain. While it is ideal to not bring the girls for these 7 minute sessions, having them with me at all times is priceless. Needless to say, I walked away from this spot with a broken necklace and grass on my new jeans, but another fun memory in the books. Be present in each moment. Life’s too short to not live in The Red Dress!
