6 Leadership Books Every Hustler Must Read

6 leadership books

I have 6 leadership books that are a must read for every girl! I read all the time. It is one of my favorite past times, especially when I can be all alone. I do love a good novel or sci-fi. However, my favorite is reading any type of business or personal growth book. I’ve compiled a list of my top 6 leadership books every girl must read. These leadership books range from finding your passion to managing your money and equipping yourself to embrace challenges. These books have transformed my thinking and given me new strategies. I have learned how to network, build lasting relationships, and stay true to myself. Check these books out and comment below if you have read any. Also, give other suggestions for The Red Dress Girl to read.

6 Leadership Books To Read

Fierce Conversations (Scott) – This leadership book lays out the simple, but oh so difficult concept of positive communication. It will empower you to have conversations at work and in your personal life that have hindered your professional and personal growth.

Mindset (Dweck) – This book is all about the power of the mind and the value of a growth mindset versus a fixed mindset. By recognizing your unique gifts and talents, you will find growth in your abilities and overall a greater outlook on life.

Stand Out (Clark) – This author does an amazing job of empowering readers to be a “thought leader” in their field of expertise. She guides you through identifying areas that set you apart. Then, uses a questioning technique to assist in cultivating your expertise and putting yourself out there for others to recognize.

Start With Why (Sinek) – This book ranks high among leadership books in general and would be my suggestion to read first. It leads you to respond to the question of “why.” Why are you passionate about your work? How can you move forward into success? It is an easy read and so thought compelling.

#Girlboss (Amoruso) – I am a huge fan of Sophia Amoruso and her journey to creating a fashion empire with the Nasty Gal brand. Her book is just plain inspiring especially if you love fashion and business. She started with nothing and has worked her way into being a true #Girlboss.

Love Your Life Not Theirs (Cruze) – This book is all about damaging money habits. It is a guide for a beginner’s budget and a true look at your perspective on “stuff.” Cruze is the daughter of Dave Ramsey so she leaves you inspired and challenged to fight for financial freedom in your life.

Organizing Life

Erin Condren Life Planner – This is my favorite planner! What I love the most about it is that it can be personalized and has so much room to write out your plans for each month. I also have the little add-ins for meal planning and a weekly workout schedule. I love how it is so easy to use in planning out my weeks.
